He may, perhaps, decide to put this scene before another, or after it, but then, it’s all written down and he cannot change the scene itself. In this kind of cinema, the text is there to make room for emotions, so it is not really important in itself. For this kind of cinema, you need to say the proper words to express things, but they must not sound like that, if that is how I can put it... Anything that goes on inside your head will be on screen: the viewer will see it, he will sense it, feel it… And that is what makes this kind of cinema so magical.”
